Hey guys enjoy the blog ! So the other day Disney released the first official trailer of The Lion King and here are my thoughts on it.
I thought this trailer looked so amazing I actually freaked out when I saw Simba and (Nala) at the elephant graveyard it was just perfection !!!
Just the entire trailer itself was absolutely mind blowing it brought many memories back of the original film which I still love to this day , the music was very nostalgic when the King Of Pride Rock theme played I went ” ahhhh” 😂😂
I nearly cried seriously the only thing that made me turn my head a little was Scar and his voice I prefer Jeremy Irons in this iconic role he played that character so sinister but I think this new voice actor might do a good job , James Earl Jones back as Mufasa was awesome hearing his majestic voice sent shivers down my spine also I can’t wait to hear Beyonce as (Nala) shell be good we even got to see Timon and Pumbaa for the first time which I thought was brilliant they looked great I wasn’t a big fan of Seth Rogen but I haven’t heard his voice yet so I can’t judge yet.
So on Friday Vic announced he was going to be attending KamehaCon TX as your all aware Vic’s not had a good year so far I won’t go into detail but this news is amazing and it’s so good for him I’m glad there’s some positivity in Vic’s life right now.
From day one I’ve stood with Vic until now I truly believe he’s innocent I heard the same rumours 2 years about him being a racist etc etc but when I think about it today its nonsense
As for Monica Rial who has cancelled KamehaCon and now freaking Jason Douglas (Beerus) and Daman Mills (Frieza) have also cancelled their appearences because of this ” horrible evil man ” its stupid I’m sorry its actually unprofessional that you’ve done this 😂😂.
But moving on from sjw trolls who ruined a man’s career and reputation I’m happy for Vic this is the best news I’ve heard, if your going to KamehaCon in April and you have stood by Vic enjoy your wonderful day Ya’ll you deserve it 👍😁😊.
Hey guys this will be a short blog enjoy!
So last night Coronation Street said their farewell to Rana Nazir / Rana Connor who met her fate in a tragic way I actually caught up on it today and I was really heartbroken here are my thoughts on it.
…. This is problematic but at the end of the day Bhavna wanted to leave the show so that’s fair enough but honestly I thought it was a bit harsh to write her exit like that it was really intense and so sad like I can’t really describe it.
I think the performances from Faye Brookes and Bhavna ( I don’t want to butcher her name BTW I know I’ll get it wrong 😂) were superb they were so convicing in these scenes and the raw emotion was genuine especially from Faye they’re just awesome actresses I wish Bhavna the best of luck in her career.
I mentioned in my last blog about Rana’s departure and the whole controversy with the kill your gays trope Rana’s death kind of reminded of Tara from Buffy and Adam from Voltron ( He was killed off in space but ya know what I mean) but like I said before this was how they wanted to write Rana out and I guess we’ll have to accept that.
Hey guys this will be a short blog enjoy!
So yesterday a trailer was released for Backdraft 2… * That’s actually what it’s called there’s no like dramatic end title just Backdraft 2* it’s a sequel to the 1991 film which starred Kurt Russell and Jennifer Jason Leigh, apparently the plot evolves around Kurt Russell’s son from the first movie and his brother the sons uncle ( William Baldwin) the son is now in the same position as his father and basically he’s putting out fires in every scene 😂.
I watched Backdraft last year and I thought it was an OK film it was well shot it wasn’t a fantastic masterpiece but it was a solid movie but Backdraft 2…. Looks corny as hell 🤣 no actually… Why make a sequel seriously?
Backdraft didn’t really need another movie it was fine the way it was, Backdraft 2 is a direct to dvd type of movie BTW so I don’t blame cinemas for not putting this in theatres because nobody would have seen it anyway it just looks cheap and meh it kinda reminds me of those old disney sequels that were direct to video and had the same plot it had the main characters sons or daughters and it just sucked 😂😂 that’s how I saw the trailer for Backdraft 2 there’s no need for it.
Hey guys hope your having a lovely evening or morning wherever you are in the world.
I thought I’d do another rant blog on my favourite gal Nia Nal aka Dreamer oh my god she is mint in this series !!! Nicole Maines I will say is superb as this character she’s quirky, fun and witty like me 😁 I can’t help obsessing over her she’s precious actually she’s like a precious chocolate bun that I can’t get enough of.
I hope Nia’s story and coming out as a transgender woman has helped a lot of people over the past few months and I think the writers have done an excellent job portraying her character because she’s just being seen as a normal everyday girl and shes not being presented as a curiosity this is so far the best representation of trans characters after Dallas Buyers Club or Three Generations 👏👏🤝 Supergirl!!
Hey guys I thought I’d do a blog on my thoughts on the Brie Larson film enjoy ya’ll!
So last night I saw Captain Marvel the latest film from MCU, when it began the Marvel logo had touching pictures of Stan Lee throughout the years and it was a nice final farewell tribute to him with the #ThanksStan below it he made my childhood with cartoons such as X Men and Spiderman Gambit rest in paradise Mr Lee.
I understand there was a lot of controversy surrounding this film with the whole feminist messages in the film and the lead actress Brie Larson who plays Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel but honestly from my experience … I didn’t think it was that bad this was actually a really good film, OK when I first heard about this movie and the feminist agenda it did put me off it but seeing the film I enjoyed it a lot.
There were some excellent performances in this film especially from Brie Larson she was likeable in the film, witty and had a sense of humour and her character was quite funny too, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury he was really good and made me laugh in a couple of scenes also as well I can’t forget Goose the cat he was freaking adorable and so badass such a tough little kitty who I now want to buy!! 😍😍.
The film is well shot, the action sequences were superb and impressive, the 90’s nostalgia set in 1995 * My Birthday* was pretty good too a few windows computers popped out which made me go ” Damn… You sure don’t see them anymore” * We had the exact same computer in primary school so it was kinda like relieving life of a 10 year old 😂😂* and i can’t forget to mention Blockbusters ahhhh!!! 😎📼📼.
Overall this film is mint it’s excellent my expectations turned out to be very positive 10/11 ******
